Second grade! And kindergarten!

Last day of school! We had our traditional pizza and ice cream social with the Gebhardt-Wong cousins. Barend Jr., too, this year -- now that he is at Thornton Creek. Tristen, Elana, and Barend Jr. will start second grade. Liam will start Kindergarten in the fall.

Our new playground opened this weekend! Families flocked there. We saw sooooo many friends and neighbors on the sunny morning it opened.

We were able to spend Mother's Day gardening again this year. It was gorgeous, and the whole neighborhood was out. Chris was working on the Little Free Library we'll be erecting soon, in neighbor Steve's honor.
